Woke up early (well, 9:30 anyways) to drag my lazy ass down to Marshall for a "Magnet Senior Graduation Celebration Brunch." It was semi-fun; the food wasn't that bad and served in plentiful amounts. The expected teachers showed, Zwick, Motoike, even Brownell. But Jones was there at that one threw me for a loop. And he kept taking pictures. At the end, Michelle showed us a slide show she put together of various class pics she gathered from the past 4 years. Oy. Much laughter. There were even baby pics too! Too bad Danielle couldn't find the one of us when we dressed for Halloween. Ha ha, if you ever find it Danee, post it your xanga.
Afterwords I went to watch Italian Job with Mela, Gloria, Charles and Lawrence. It was okay. I probably would have liked it more if Ocean's Eleven never came out. But, it did successfully change my opinion of Mini Coopers. I still think they're ugly but O! What performance. Plus, there was a multitude of pretty cars, and that was cool even though they didn't really make use of them.
Starbucks changed the size of their cups. However, their prices did not shrink with it. Damn them.

It is unbelievable how badly I suck at DDR now. Stopped playing for a couple of years, and now I can't even pass Dynamite Rave. It's sad. And pathetic. I look like a chicken when I play. My dad laughed at me. He laughed at me. ARGH. If I'm not online, or posting to this blog, know this: it is because I am playing DDR religously. Daily. Nightly. By the hours. Just you wait! Oh, and by the way Christine, the songs suck! The only only with a good beat is Dynamite Rave, and I keep failing it! Don't laugh! I know you're laughing. Stop it! Pity me instead. I could use some good pitying.
Christine and I rushed to Glendale for In-n-Out interviews, but got there like 10 minutes too late. Poop. The guy telling people where to go said we could try again in two weeks. I gotta make a kick-ass resume so they'll want me instead of those other wankers. I really want a that big safety pin! Plus, $8.25 an hour for starters? It don't get much better than that. Afterwords, we went to drown our sorrows (snicker) at Coldstones. Mmmm, Christine introduced me to French Vanilla Sky (sans Tom Cruise, Leslie) and it was the gooiest, messiest hunk of delicious ice cream I have had in....a long long time. After finishing our little confection of delight (and I refuse to call it Freedom Vanilla Sky, stupid-ass senator) we wandered around the mall, where Christine found her Guilty Gear 2 game and I settled for .hack//infection. Oh, the freedom which follows APs.
Okay, I know this is getting incredibly long, but I have to say, my brother is cool. Since he's been away at college, we've actually been talking a lot more, and not fighting. It's been great. And if you're reading this Brandon, don't get a big head, or I'll insult you in my next post =)

gothamgirls If you like batgirl, catwoman, or any of gotham's notorious chicks, check out this site. It's hilarious. Not recommended for the DSL-deprived though. The episodes might download kinda slow.

I'm bored, and there's nothing to do in fifth, so... Took the AP Government exam this morning. The multiple choice wasn't horrible, but it wasn't easy. The essays only took me like half the time to answer though, so I'm kinda worried about that. I think I'll be happy if I even get a 2. If I pass at all it'll be a miracle. Feels like all that studying yesterday was all for naught. Oh well. Since I finished the test early, I got out at around 3rd period. Went with Lan to Say Cheese to get some latte's, and ended up with hot chocolate 'cause I was planning to take a nap later anyways. Ditched 4th, me and Lan were the only one's in Ursini's to take the government test (so he won't know we're lying when we tell him we weren't there 'cause of the AP). Spent the period playing big 2 with Jenny, Adam and Mela. According to Jenny I was the one who wrote "bloody" on all of Mela's slides, but I honestly don't think I was, because I really don't remember doing that and the writing is nothing like mine. Plus, while I might poke fun at Mela, that isn't something I would really do. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Mela was born in Honk Kong, and thusly deemed a British subject to the rest of us. Heh heh. Sorry, running class joke. Anyways, spent lunch inside, as it was cold and kinda rainy outside. Learned that Melissa and Christine were looking for me during 3rd, while I was out getting drinks. And now it's 5th, and I feel extremely lethargic. There's nothing for me to do but wait til the end of the period to go to Tellez and sign up for job openings in the In-n-Out joint being opened in Glendale. Finally! Now there's a Borders, a Coldstone's, a Starbucks and an In-n-Out at Glendale. And theatre's too. It'll be the place to be. Coffee, ice cream, books, burgers and movies. It's the ditchers' paradise. All I need is a license (which I can't get til the end of June...poo). That's all I can really think about writing, and now I'm getting too lazy to even type. I wanna nap.
Beware of the Sars. Dun dun duunnnnnn.
me: mom! give me drugs! mom: okay. -ha ha, it was only motrin. My mom cracks me up sometimes.
Stayed home from school today to study for my Government AP tomorrow, and I'm sick of it. So I took a break and ended up watching an old cartoon, don't now if anybody remembers it, called Gargoyles. It's so cool. Demona kicks ass. I think I have a thing for blue-skinned creatures.

I love the way she talks.

X-men 2 admittedly did not suck as bad as I thought it would. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised - after the first movie, I was expecting a total disaster with the second. But thankfully, there was barely any plot which worked out as a plus, because the film couldn't really deviate from the comic timeline. Another plus: the movie concentrated on a broader range of characters, which meant I wasn't forced to glare at the characters I hated for 2 whole hours. However, there are (of course) many things which ticked me off. The accents, or lack therof, bugged me to no end. Where's Colossus's cute russian accent? What about Wolverine's animal-like drawl? And damnit, poor Ororo's been completely Americanized! Not to mention Rogue's lame-ass southern accent which was increasingly inconsistant. She still pisses me off, by the way. I could do a whole rant about how the movies are mutilating the characters and the timeline and totally wrecking the true x-men universe, but that would take to long. So I'll vent to Melissa tomorrow (ha ha! Run for the hills Meli! You are the first person I see in the morning!). The highlight of the movie? Definately the blue guys. Nightcrawler and Mystique just rocked. Kurt's accent was the cutest, and even if he was just a tad too religous for my tastes, ooo, he was just so damn cool. Mystique is now permanently my fav character for the x-men movies. She was wicked cool in the first one, but in X2, oh man. The way she flipped those soldiers the bird after kicking their asses was just awesome. I'd watch the movie again just to see that.
The things I wanna see in the X3: Gambit - need that cajun fix, Beast - because he's cool and underappreciated, Jubilee - because I'm ticked she wasn't cast as the main character like she shoulda been, Less Rogue, More Nightcrawler, More Mystique, More Logan angst - because he ain't the same if he ain't hurting, and absence of all things Pheonix.

The AP Lit. exam was okay. The multiple choice was pretty easy, but I didn't do as well as I should've on the essays. But we took the test in the gym, and stupid Mr. Saldana made me sit down right underneath the open window, where I could feel every cold little breeze this fine morning. My fingers were frozen, my toes were numb, and my stomach was growling, and all in all, I did worse on my essays than I really should have. Definately won't get that 5 I was aiming for, anyways. Damn.

Prom was pretty fun. The music wasn't great, the food wasn't great, and the dance floor was unbearably hot, but otherwise it was a-ok! I was actually on the dance floor more than I thought I would be (got into a train, that was fun), but Javi wanted to dance and how could I say no? He was so nice, he got me a pretty corsage (which I left in Andy's car - stupid, stupid britt) and even got me soda after a particularily long period of dancing. How sweet! Saw a couple teachers and administrators there - Ms. Brownell, Ms. Motoike, of course Mrs. Robin Lee-Ramirez, of course Mr. Abraham, etc. Some were dressed up, some were not. It was nice of them to drop by. Although I wonder about Motoike's motives. I think she just wanted an excuse to go to Victoria's Secret (tm). Gloria had the best hair, it was pretty and had ringlets and curls and beads - she did it herself, but it took 4 hours. Still, in came out great. Best hair-do in the whole room. Marissa had the best dress though. Cow print and red high heels baby! Overall, most of the dresses were pretty, but all end up looking the same, in my opinion. Hope nobody's really offended by this, but when your dress is made of shiny material and strappy shoulders, it all kinda blends together. Sorry if I don't remember who wore what dress. Anyways, after prom we went to Denny's, which is apparently the after-prom hang-out for Marshall peeps. We ran into the Volleyball guys, the C-Trackers, and a couple other Barristers there. Me and Melissa changed in the bathroom as soon as we got there, and then Lalita kicked us out of the stall before I had a chance to button my shirt. I gave that little old lady quite a shock when I inadvertently flashed her. After we finished our meal, half of the little group left, and the rest of us spent the next 2 hours loitering in the restaurant. It sucks being 17. All the bowling alleys were closed, and we weren't old enough to get into a pool hall. Finally we decided to just head over to Santa Monica and watch the sunrise on the beach. However, halfway there Victor wimped out and said he was tired. La was also kinda falling asleep, so we called things a wash and went home. Finally, at 4:30 am, I got to take off my make-up and wash my hair. Got 6 hours of sleep, woke up at around 11:30 am, and drove down to school for my AP Art session (which only 4 of us showed up to). Ha ha, I said everyone else was probably hung-over, and then offered my sunglasses to Patricia, who looked really tired. Spent til 6:00 pm working on art (and watching 'I Love Lucy'), and finally got to go home again. But then I had to cook dinner. Took another shower, and...updated this blog, 'cuz I figure prom should be something I should make a horribly long entry about. Sucks for those of you who read this. And that takes us to now, but just to cover all the bases, in the future I will eat some strawberries, brush my teeth, mope for a while, then go to sleep dreading the AP Lit. exam tomorrow morning. I refuse to study. Or, rather, I am too lazy to.

Well, didn't go to the Promenade like we planned, Mr. Jones gave a quiz and our designated driver had to go to school. That's okay though, I slept in til 10:30, and that's always fun too. At lunch I brought a big 'ol pizza to school (BBQ chicken and onion! Yum!), if they couldn't have senior ditch day, senior ditch day would come to them! Anyways, it was yummy and goey and the best thing ever. I don't care what my mother says, it's the most delicious pizza on the face of this earth. Or this side of LA, whatever. But that was yesterday (blogger was down, hence the late posting), and today our oh-so-gracious school (which you can see in 'Better Luck Tomorrow' hint hint) threw us the traditional senior picnic, complete with huge inflated slides, mini lazer-tagging arenas, and a patriotic clown who made balloons into funky shapes. I woulda asked him to make me an Uncle Sam (and give it to Chan, ha ha), but there was this humongous crowd and I don't do well in those. After having much fun (and watching Kristine beat on Mela with big boxing gloves), Melissa and I left - only to spend 1/2 an hour running around searching for Kena, MaryGrace, and Christian, who took off with all of our stuff. I was getting a bit ansy, we didn't know where they were, and dammit, I need my ID for prom tomorrow night. Melissa finally got through to Kena on her cell, and we retrieved our long (I know it was only a couple of hours, but I love my wallet!) lost belongings. Then Meli gave me a ride home and I started to pig out. And this was after I had finished some chicken and a Tommy Burger. I better fit into my dress tomorrow.
Ross: I don't know what I'm gonna do! What am I gonna do? I mean this, this is like a complete nightmare! Chandler: Oh, I know, this must be so hard. "Oh no, two women love me! They're both gorgeous and sexy! My wallet's too small for my fifties and my diamond shoes are too tight!" -Friends
